Seriously, if you cycle even once a week, your bike needs periodic maintenance, and this stand takes a whole lot of the hassle out of it. Able to hold virtually any bike at almost any angle, I use it regularly. It even holds our 56-pound tandem mountain bike solidly! Definitely add the tool work tray unless you have a roll-away tool chest you can position next to you when you work. It folds pretty compact for storage in a corner when you're not using it.
You can use it on all kinds of bikes. It folds up nice and stores easily and takes less than one minute to set up and take down.

I worked on my Specialized road bike and an Iron Horse mountain bike. The top tubes fit the clamp very easily and once I tightened the clamp it felt completely stable. I like that the clamp has a channel to accomodate any cables without pinching. It was easy to spin the pedals with the bike on the rack. I really can't imagine needing anything more than this for home bike repair. I think that it is a great product at a really good price.

The stand design is elegant -- simple and functional. The stand easily folds up when not in use.
